Bryleigh has been in to making sounds for a while now. We have seen the typical progression of giggling, cooing, and just recently she figured out how to use her tongue to blow raspberries. Within the past week she has even started babbling and we've often heard something similar to "DaDa". We have all LOVED listening to all of her new sounds with each stage of progress, but this morning she definitely made our favorite noise so far!

Okay, your turn to witness - but listen fast it happens early! :)

(Please note, after she did this about 20 times, we finally decided to get the camera but unfortunately her interest was starting to die down. We'll be sure to grab the camera sooner next time so we won't miss as much. Coincidence...sure...adorable...MOST DEFINITELY!!!!)

Thank God for Nana and Papa

We are always very thankful for Nana and Papa and all that they do for us, but they have definitely done more than we expected during the month of February. Between helping us out for Valentine's Day, birthdays, adult nights, and illnesses, they have been VERY busy! We're so appreciative for all that they have done and are not sure how we would have survived this month without them!

We all "loves you more" you Nana and Papa!

Pajama Party

The other week, Brenden's class had a GREAT pajama party at school. They took teddy bears and put them into hibernation for the winter and then ate pancakes in their comfy pajamas. Brenden was VERY excited about getting to wear his cool "Queen" (also known as Lighting McQueen) pajamas to school for the day.

He got these pajamas for Christmas and they were a shirt, pants, and robe that lit up whenever he moved. We, of course, wanted to get a picture of this cute event and after taking our pictures, we realized...our child looks like a mini Hugh Hefner...
what do you think??

Bryleigh's New "Trick"

So, Bryleigh has been attempting to sit up for a little while now, but has only been successful for a brief second or two with each attempt. Recently she has gotten MUCH better at this task and is trying to sit up whenever she can. Today Nana captured her as she was sitting up and playing. Not only can you observe this trick, you can also see her new reaching technique that she is doing frequently as well. Our baby girl is DEFINITELY growing and we're definitely mixed with emotions about this...Enjoy the video!

(Sorry it's so long...she is just too cute not to tape!) :)

T-Shirt Tuesday

Below are two fun shirts...one on Brenden and one on Bryleigh. These shirts are a little different than the ones that we've posted previously because most of the fun is on the backs. Check 'em out and enjoy! :)

Super Bowl 2009

As much as we love football, the best thing about the Super Bowl are the commercials, time with friends, and good food. Well, we were blessed to enjoy all of that during the Super Bowl game this year. We went over to The Goods for a low-key night with the kids. The big boys (Bobby and Brian) watched football while the big girls (Brooke and Kelly) tried to catch up. The little boys (Brenden and Avery) played while the little girl (Bryleigh) ate and enjoyed observing all of the festivities. The most fun all night was watching the little boys as they imitated the football players on the tv. Watching them pass, charge, and tackle each other for the ball was definitely priceless and better than ANY of the commercials this year! :)

T-Shirt Tuesday

Above is a picture of Brenden in one of his GREATEST shirts EVER!
"My parents are exhausted"
That shirt could not be more true most days.
He is definitely adorable, but raising a boy sure is exhausting!
